Bismil, born Mohd Asif on May 19, 1994, is a renowned Sufi artist who began his musical journey at the age of 5, training under distinguished gurus from the Moradabad and Delhi Gharanas, including Ustaad Mohd. Ahmed Qadri, Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan, and Ustad Aftab Ahmed Khan.

He started performing professionally at 18 and co-founded “Bismil Ki Mehfil” in 2013 to promote Sufi music. His breakthrough came with the 2019 debut song “Tere Bina,” and he gained widespread recognition with his 2022 cover of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s “Kali Kali Zulfon Ke Phande.” In 2023, Bismil made history as the first Indian Sufi artist to tour the US and Canada, earning accolades like the GIWA Award and performing at prestigious venues such as Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena.
